HEROES

Mr. Fez

Real Name: Andrew Fezolli
Age: Twenty-Something
Occupation: Accountant at Sparkle Fresh Toothpaste
Background: Andrew grew up in Milestone City, completely unaware that his father was a superhero. His father pushed him into a life of mundanity, always encouraging him to pursue a normal career, which he eventually did once he landed a job as an accountant. Andrew became complacent with his boring job, never truly knowing himself.
That all changes when an old friend of Andrew's dad shows up with some strange news: Andrew's father is a superhero named Mr. Fez, and he's gone missing. Andrew is to take his place until he is found and become the new, temporary Mr. Fez.
Now, Andrew is stuck between two lives: his boring but comfortable 9-5 accounting job and his new part-time gig as a substitute superhero.

Powers: When he wears the Fez, Andrew becomes imbued with the powers of a genie. This grants him a number of physical enhancements:

 - Super strength (can pick up a car with ease)
 - Superhuman reflexes (can catch a fly with chopsticks, if he could use chopsticks)
 - Super toughness (mildly bulletproof)
 - Regeneration (heals very fast but it takes a few minutes)
 - Night vision (he can see in the dark)

The Fez also gives him access to an infinite well of magical energy that could be used for a variety of effects. Unfortunately, he doesn't know that yet and cannot access his true magical potential. Maybe someday he will learn to harness his magic power, if he doesn't die first.

Weaknesses: He must wear the Fez on his head to use its power. Without it, he's just a normal dude. Although the Fez attaches itself to the wearer's head with magic, with enough force it can be knocked off.

Andrew is also very inexperienced, and has no idea what he is doing in combat situations.
Jumping Jack

Real Name: Unknown
Age: Unknown
Occupation: Graffiti artist and full-time public menace
Background: Not much is known about Jumping Jack's background, but he is well known around Milestone City as an unstoppable troublemaker. His endless pranks and need to paint everything brought him into direct conflict with Mr. Fez. This conflict quickly turned into a one sided friendship, as Jack now follows Andrew around getting him into all kinds of trouble.
Mr. Fez doesn't know it yet, but he and Jumping Jack are destined to be best friends. Or maybe arch enemies, depending on how you look at it.

Powers: The source and upper limit of Jumping Jack's power is unknown, but he has displayed a number of incredible feats made possible by these abilities:

 - Super jumping (he can hop over skyscrapers and clear huge distances in a single leap)
 - Super agility (can maneuver in multiple directions faster than the snap of your fingers)
 - Super speed (definitely faster than a racecar)
 - Super durability (can withstand impacts of great force)
 - Infinite stamina (he doesn't get tired and doesn't need sleep)

Weaknesses: Jack has a childlike mind and short attention span which makes him very gullible and oblivious. Because of this, he is vulnerable to persuasion and sneak attacks. He is also unaware of the implications of real world dangers and cannot distinguish between good or evil intent.
The Boggler

Real Name: Steve Coleman
Age: Don't Ask
Occupation: Retired Superhero
Background: Years ago, a teenaged Steve Coleman unlocked latent psychic powers within his brain after reaching the end of an experimental arcade game. With these new powers, he became The Boggler and soon earned a membership on the elite superhero team based in Milestone City: the Righteous Squad.
After years of service, a terrible tragedy shook the Boggler's faith in his own abilities and he retired. But the recent disappearance of his former teammate has put him back into the fray in search of the original Mr. Fez.

Powers: The Boggler is considered one of the most powerful telepaths in the world. Because of his exposure to Polybius, he possesses the following abilities:

 - Confusion Casting (can scramble the minds of humans, causing intense disorientation. This was the first trick he learned)
 - Mind Reading (can read minds and communicate telepathically)
 - Mind Control (can make people do what he tells them)
 - Astral Projection
 - Possession (can take full control of a person's body)
 - Telepathic Illusions (he can make people see and experience anything he wishes)

Weaknesses: The Boggler has his limits. The range of his telepathy is 500 yards and if he has too many people under his mental influence, it will put a strain on his own mind.

Direct eye contact with the Boggler will cause hallucinations and prolonged exposure will render a person irreversibly insane. Because of this, he must wear special sunglasses at all times.
Lady Bird

Real Name: Liza June
Age: Late Twenties
Occupation: Engineer, Superhero
Background: When her parents were killed protecting her from a supervillain, Liza June decided to become a superhero. Although she didn't have any superpowers, she was determined to make it happen. She learned several forms of martial arts and became a skilled engineer that specialized in robotics, electronics, and aeronautics.
With her brilliant technical skills, she invented a flight suit, non-lethal energy weapons, and tiny robots that would assist in her crime fighting career. Seeing her potential, the Righteous Squad accepted her application and made her their chief technical engineer.

Powers: Even though she has no superpowers, Lady Bird is a capable hero with much to offer:

 - Skilled hand-to-hand combatant (mastered 3 different types of martial arts, and is still learning a fourth)
 - Armored flight suit includes:
      - Bullet proof vest
      - Armored boots that allow walking on walls
      - Armored wristbands with internal computer
      - Armored wings offer extra protection and flight
      - Bulletproof helmet with infrared goggles
 - Stun pistols (shoot energy bolts equivalent to a stun gun)
 - Bugs (tiny robotic bugs capable of flight, shooting tiny lasers, and act as tracking devices)

Weaknesses: Lady Bird's armor is a bit clunky and is a hinderance to her natural combat skills. While it affords her protection, more agile enemies can take advantage of her limited mobility. She also has a fear of mannequins and is very ticklish.
